For nearly 20 years, Marie has been a passionate advocate for clients, whether they’re buying, selling, or just needing advice. She’s got a proven track record of making advantageous deals, from the purchase of a first home, to the sale of a multi-million dollar manse.
Marie is the 2018 president of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors®. In 2017, she was one of 10 residential professionals named to the National Association of Realtors 2018 Research Committee and has served as chairwoman of several committees for the Mass. Association of Realtors. As a graduate of the Realtor Institute, Marie holds a "GRI," one of the highest professional designations in the field. In addition to her trade proficiency, Marie’s finance, marketing and sales expertise provides her clients with a multi-level perspective on transactions. These valued-added skills are particularly important to people selling their homes. Marie provides an in-depth analysis and plan to attract the most qualified buyers. She has an MBA in marketing and many certifications in selling, buying, seniors/elderly, negotiation, and “green” homes. She’s also taught more than 100 courses through local community education. Marie is active in the Historical Society, Rotary Club and local Chamber of Commerce, to name just a few groups. A Newton Corner homeowner, Marie has lived in three different villages over the past 20 years.
Marie’s has many long-term clients as a result of her personal, empathic approach. She’s particularly adept at helping them through life-changing events, such as a divorce, moving an elderly parent and the birth of a child. Given her own challenges—running a complex business while single-parenting and overcoming many hurdles — she’s learned to teach others how to make sound real estate decisions while navigating intense emotions. In fact, she’s planning to write a book on her experiences and lessons learned to help other women.
