James's journey began at Howard University, where he earned his Bachelor's and MBA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. His early career as a Mortgage-Backed Securities Analyst at Freddie Mac provided him with a solid foundation in financial markets. Transitioning to management consulting, James honed his advisory skills at PwC and EY, supporting federal consulting advisory practices.

In 2012, James shifted to wealth management, partnering with Northwestern Mutual. In March 2023, James joined First Financial Group, where he now leads a team committed to creating and protecting generational wealth for his clients.
