About Me

I am Jacob Campbell, a Certified Financial Planner and Wealth Management Advisor with a passion for helping others feel confident about their future. Through my work, I aim to assist individuals in thinking bigger, realizing their potential, and recognizing that they are better than they might have believed. My personal experiences have shaped my dedication to ensuring others are well-prepared, regardless of the current economic climate.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, I witnessed firsthand the impact of the 2007-2008 financial crisis on my family. We endured the loss of our home, my parents' divorce, and the lasting effects it had on my father. This challenging period in my life ignited a deep desire to prevent others from facing similar hardships. I am committed to empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to thrive, even in the face of adversity.

Growing up, I cherished the moments spent at my grandparents' house, where the essence of family was tangible. Gathered around the table, indulging in steak, potatoes, and a myriad of other delicious treats, we would engage in card games, with the Colts and Pacers games providing the backdrop. These experiences instilled in me a profound belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to create a life they love. My goal is to help individuals achieve their dreams, enabling them to enjoy the things they hold dear.

Beyond my financial advisory role, I am deeply involved in the community. I serve as a coach for Thunder Rugby, a position that allows me to impart valuable life skills to young athletes while fostering their love for the sport. Additionally, I challenge myself by participating in Tri-athlete events, constantly pushing my limits. In April 2024, I will embark on my first half Ironman, a testament to my dedication and determination.

Outside of my professional and athletic pursuits, I am blessed with a loving family. My wife, Nichelle, and our son, Nico, bring immense joy and purpose to my life. They serve as a constant reminder of why I am so passionate about helping others protect their financial well-being. Through my work, I strive to provide a brighter and more stable future for not only my own family but for all those who seek my guidance.

Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. The award is based on 10 objective criteria. Eligibility criteria – required: 1. Credentialed as a registered investment adviser (RIA) or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a RIA or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP’s consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP’s consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client’s experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9.
