2021-2024 Best Places to Work in Connecticut
The "Best Places to Work in Connecticut" project is a statewide program managed by Best Companies Group, a third-party research firm based out of PA. This exciting initiative, by the Hartford Business Journal, is dedicated to identifying and recognizing Connecticut's best employers.

Best Companies Group conducted a simple, yet thorough company assessment. The assessment is a two-part process designed to gather detailed data about each participating company.

In part one, the employer completed a questionnaire and in part two, employees of the company completed an employee survey. The collected information from the two instruments was combined to produce a detailed set of data enabling the analysts to determine the strengths and opportunities of the participating companies.

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity;
  • Be a publicly or privately held business;
  • Have a facility in Connecticut;
  • Have at least 15 employees in Connecticut;
  • Be in business a minimum of 1 year.

2022 Hartford Business Journal "Healthiest Employers"

Healthiest Employers is a trusted awards program that recognizes people-first organizations taking a more proactive approach to employee health. Healthiest Employers’ goal is to be a resource for organizations that are focused on improving the health of their employees by creating a community invested in their populations’ health and well-being.

Powered by Springbuk, an online survey tool and health data analytics solution, the Healthiest Employers® assessment measures well-being effectiveness across six key categories: culture and leadership commitment; foundational components; strategic planning; communications and marketing; programming and interventions; and reporting and analytics. This program honors the “best of the best” in corporate health and wellness.

CTWM was named #1 for companies with under 1500 employees in September of 2022.
